Kathleen Turner originated the role in Philadelphia and has returned to it at the Geffen, Berkeley Rep and Arena Stage, all under the direction of David Esbjornson. Their new one-woman play, "Erma Bombeck: At Wit's End," opened at Arena Stage in 2016 and has had 36 productions, including three-extension sold-out runs at both Cincinnati Playhouse (actress Barbara Chisholm) and Geva Theatre in NY (actress Pam Sherman). Both plays are published by Samuel French. Their new play, "The Vote: The Miracle Win in Just 72 Years" is a fresh look at women's suffrage, framed by the injustice of the Stacey Abrams' vote in Georgia. They are represented by Ron Gwiazda at Abrams Arts in NYC.
