  • Ancient Wisdom of the Shoebill Stork

We should all live more like Intern Nirmal. What a fun show with great dialogue and a real treat for the adventurous costumer. And what a great ending! I want to see this produced.
  • Brompton's Truth
    3 Apr. 2024
Eight lines full of power and love and loss. Eight lines that made me cry and reminisce about my own far too short a time with a beloved family member. This show will stay with you. This is one of the truest plays I have ever read.
  • PUSH PULL
    3 Apr. 2024
Comedy, drama, tension, mystery, this little play has it all. We get a glimpse of the truth as the characters push and pull tidbits of information about their relationship, clue by clue, until we see a part of the whole. I'd love to see this performed.
  • is my sun shining?

There is truth in this play of grief wrapped in pain and love and self destruction. There is truth in memories made manifest and in permission to heal. Ian Donley does a wonderful job in crafting these truths into a short interlaced with the humor that follows trauma. Very well done.
  • So This is a One Minute Play
    29 Mar. 2024
What a great show. It's as long as it needs to be and would be a fantastic inclusion to open a night of short plays. As usual with Jacquie's plays, the comic timing is perfect, the dialogue is spot on, and the play itself is stellar. So good.
  • The Peculiar Puppets of Penelope Platt
    28 Mar. 2024
What a magical show. It's funny, touching, with some great parts for both humans and puppets. As a former puppet performer I can say that this show would be a dream if I was looking to produce a live event directed to the Gen Xers and Millennials who grew up on the Muppet Show and Sesame Street. So good.
  • THE RITUAL (ten minute play)
    28 Mar. 2024
THE RITUAL is an hilarious short play straight out of the schoolyards of Arkham or Dunwich. This is a wickedly funny horror comedy in all of the right ways and contains one of the funniest lines I've read in a long time. I'd love to see this staged.
  • Three Blind Mice
    26 Mar. 2024
Life can be touching, funny, deep, and at times brutally raw and honest, just like this play. Three men from three different backgrounds reconnect decades after their last meeting. We follow them through life, struggles, tragedy, and redemption as they move from past acquaintances to meaningful friends. There's truth to the dialogue in this show. The honesty in Darrin Friedman's Three Blind Mice's will touch you.
  • Inside Man
    22 Mar. 2024
I had the pleasure of seeing Inside Man at its world premiere and loved it. It's a complex story in two acts that deals with freedom, life, love, and self sabotage. It plays with shifts in tone, character, and the complexities of a life after. I highly recommend it.

As a side note, it also ties in as the play performed in the novel "Waiting in the Wings" by Danielle Bannister.
  • The Subtle, Sublime Transformation of Benny V.
    17 Mar. 2024
Great things happen when you give yourself permission to take the path less traveled, as is shown in this beautiful show by Steven. Subtle, sublime, transformative, true, this play is a marvelous journey of discovery. The characters are clear and wonderfully written. The freedom of staging options is a real gift to directors. I would love to see this performed live.
