Located in Phoenix, Az, The Phoenix Theatre Company is a 100 year old not-for-profit institution that provides year round education, entertainment and audience engagement. We operate under a LOA-Lort D contract and produce up to 12 productions annually across three venues. Our MainStage venue is a proscenium theater that seats 378 patrons. In addition our two black box spaces include The Hormel and The Judith Hardes theaters which seat 225 and 115 respectively. Our Festival of New American Theatre is in it's 23rd year and host a diverse selection of plays and musicals. We offer 29 hour readings, sit down readings and Composer/Lyricist Cabarets over a three week period annually. Submission guidelines happen annually (usually around May) and if selected artist receive airfare, housing, rental car and a honorarium for their participation.
