Raw. That might be the best word to describe this. If you were ever a female-identifying person in private school, this play will cut deep. Turnage unapologetically confronts religious institutions' obsession with female sexuality through two honest, flawed, and -most importantly- real girls.

Watched a reading of this at KCACTF 2017. A gorgeous piece with an easy pace. Caitlin outdoes herself with the metaphor and dialogue among the two girls. An excellent opportunity for actresses of all shapes, sizes, and colors!

I got to see this play at the KCACTF this past year! Wonderful use of space and imagery: a biting portrayal of two young women in a stifling atmosphere.

This play offers a look at teenaged girls, in a specific world that puts a unique twist on the coming-of-age teen drama. Two strong, young female roles in this tale of growing into womanhood, body ownership, and pushing past trauma.

I had the pleasure of seeing this play in a reading at KCACTF 2017. It has two powerhouse roles for young women, exciting twists and reveals, and an original setting. A truly meaty drama for teen actors to sink their teeth into!
