A clever zoom script capturing the feeling and moment of COVID and dealing with children.

A great representation of life in covid. This play has an honesty that absolutely stabs you with a fork. I really felt for the characters — and even the off-stage kids. Everyone was going crazy. No one knew what to do. It’s a good thing Ditty wrote about it. Loved it.

A.J. Ditty has written three fantastic, funny characters in this short comedy. They're all rich -- and there's an especially terrific monologue during which we see one of them completely unravel.

But for all the comedy in "All Things Considered, It Was Probably the Most Productive Meeting the Escondido Unified School District PTA Ever Had" -- and there is a lot, including the perfect title -- I most loved the Ditty's ending that places everything into a more somber context.

This is a terrific play for contemporary times.

I'm pretty sure I've been to this meeting. And I've been every one of these characters. And my kids are savages. Sometimes. A.J. Ditty has it down. All the glory and the pain, of kids, parenting, Covid, school administration. Yup. Turns out these meetings are even worse on zoom than in person. But the play is spot on and hilarious.

I have to say, I laughed heartily during this piece while also connecting deeply with Ditty's depiction of isolation and stress, particularly when it comes to parenting. This hilarious piece does really pack a punch: as per the title, we all could have spent a lot more time during quarantine supporting and making space for one another, versus pressuring ourselves to appear 'put together.' As we continue to think through the nature of work, 'professionalism,' and self-care, this play will continue to be an important conversation-starter. And did I mention it's absolutely HILARIOUS?!

I have no idea if A.J. Ditty has kids or not or wants or them or what, but I feel like he captured what it feels like to be a parent during the pandemic in all its messy, funny, heartbreaking glory. Such true-to-life Zoom humor (Zoom-or?), too. Excellent stuff!

An excellent distillation of the manic/terrified feeling that comes from pretending things are normal when you're trapped in your house and it feels like the world is ending. Ditty lets us laugh at that feeling but also leans into the pain that lies underneath the laughter.

A hilarious and accurate time capsule of a play whose sharp dialogue is both highly entertaining and massively relatable.

A hysterical play that perfectly captures what it was like the summer of 2020. Even now just a year later so much has changed that this play isn't as current as it once was but the dark humor works so well and I hope people will keep performing it.

A brilliantly funny absurdist take on the pandemic at its height (or depth) in the context of a Zoom PTA meeting. Great stuff!
