A moving story of finding oneself stuck in the past and finding the journey forward. Well done.

This compelling play exhibits all the magic and mystery of a well-crafted drama written by a playwright with a unique voice. Like the setting for this story, these characters have complicated pasts, and the action that unfolds onstage is a revelatory exploration of a tragic human collision course.

Magical and mundane, small but universal at the same time

This play is moody and dense and endearingly poignant.

A beautiful play about getting trapped in the comfort and pain of the past and about searching for a way out or a way forward. The relationships here are well-drawn and heartbreaking; the mystery that draws a guest into the world of the Riverview B&B, compelling and poetic.

Eugenie's play won the WomenWorks competition for 2015. She came to The University of Tulsa campus for the residency associated with the award and was a wonderful collaborator. Eugenie did some very effective rewriting while on campus and offered a workshop for the campus-at-large that was greatly enjoyed by the participants. She has a distinctive voice and a very mature presence that helps everyone focus on opening out the play in the best way possible. She's a true artist.
