What a great play!! I loved the way we follow Rose on her journey to come into her power. Lots of opportunities for stage magic.

As a recent 23-year-old, I can honestly say I've never read a play -- or experienced any story, in any medium -- that captures the strangeness of being 23 as well as this one does. Madison Fiedler's characters leap off the page with distinct voices and pacing, and her theatricality is so thrilling and makes me eager to see "Screech Owl" staged. This play is unabashedly weird and awesome and asks a question that is relevant to all ages: Can you find the next version of yourself while surrounded by those who only see your past versions? #BAPF46

I couldn't put this play down! I loved the quick, realistic dialogue, and the characters. I'm a sucker for quarter-life crisis/finding-yourself storylines. I, too, am trying to figure out "how to be a woman and not just like a weirdly old girl." I am really interested in contemporary takes on Lilith, and I thought the blend of surrealism and the relatable soul searching - with questions like who am I and what am I doing with my life - were perfect.

I love this play. The characters and dialogue jump right off the page. Madison captures the mine field that is adult communication; the inherent dangers in trying to figure out what you want, what you need, and who you are.
