An excellent story about growing up as teenagers in a system with an all too familiar problem to confront. Can sisterhood help empower them? Well done.

Highly recommend High School Coven. As a high school teacher,I find the language is spot on as are the conflicts. The topic is original and odd in the best of ways. The humor and situations feel real. And the presence of witchcraft keeps the story zipping along with an incredible ending.

HIGH SCHOOL COVEN is perfect for young womxn actors and audiences of all genders, creeds, and otherwise definable traits. Full of heart, horror, and sisterhood, Kaela is exceptional at luring you in with her bouncy, vibrant dialogue and then she rips the curtains from the mechanism, turning the tide of events over to the will of the audience. How will YOU respond to the battle cries of the oppressed? Exceptional, necessary, and vibrant, this is a different kind of Witches story for a society that desperately needs to hear it.

Nobody writes about high school girls like Kaela Mei-Shing Garvin. High School Coven is touching in its honesty, startling in its boldness, and contains one of the hardest-hitting monologues about rape culture that I have ever read. Will make you laugh, then feel, then take action.

A super entertaining play that will make you laugh and break your heart. A really great piece about the bond between females and their power to take on patriarchy.

Warm, interesting, and downright funny - it captures that moment in our lives when we readily access the energy and excitement to push the world around us into changing despite everything we don't know. Since downloading, I've found myself coming back to it over and over again.

A way too fun play about a subject that is not written about enough!!! Kaela is definitely an emerging artist to watch and her high school coven of female characters are funny, weird, mystical and also really real.
