Maldonado's imagined view of the future is surprisingly hopeful, considering the fact that it takes place after the downfall of civilization. This play is a reflection on that hope and what it means to survive vs. what it means to thrive.

I loved these characters and their interactions, as well as the hopefulness for a brighter future!

A wonderfully fresh take on the dystopian play. We don't often get to see this conversation in these kinds of stories. These characters are so used to being on their own to survive and I'm glad to see this moment where they consider rejoining society.
