I just love Soltero-Brown's plays, which are always such wonderful combos of inventive theatricality, poetry, immediacy and stark emotional truth. Grief is powerful and haunting and painful to read, as it should be.

Simplicity is sometimes the key to the most powerful writing. Soltero bestows on us one of the most haunting short plays I’ve read. I pause out of respect for his masterful tale.

Remarkable, gut-wrenching, poetic. This play says so much without saying anything at all. There is so much emotion, but there is none at the same time. What a horrifyingly accurate portrayal of what's happening in America--we feel so much about these terrible crimes, but we never do anything. We just repeat. Soltero-Brown is a voice for this generation and he understands people better than they understand themselves.
