Are you looking for a haunting, other-wordly Gothic play that will surprise you? This is the one. Kelly McBurnette-Andronicos is a master at dialogue that is unique and world-building. You won't hear another play like it. This will be a delight to see on its feet. Unique role for an actress to tackle in Bunny.

This story wastes no time in establishing a creepy, mysterious gothic aesthetic in the story of the unorthodox relationship between Bunny Maybrick and Theo Voss. As the narrative unfolds, it gradually unpacks amazing revelations about Bunny's past, about the other characters on the fringe of the story, and about Theo's intentions. No spoilers! You have to read this one for yourself to experience the full effect of the McBurnette-Andronicos gift for character, setting, and mystery.

On the fringes of more well-known stories, McBurnette-Andronicos does her deep digging to unearth fascinating worlds of richly-drawn characters delivering new perspectives we had never considered existed. I never know what I will find in a KMA piece, but I know I will be immersed in a story that will stay with me long after the curtain closes.

Kelly McBurnette-Andronicos is a world-building wonder; see her other works. From the play’s first moment, she immerses us in an atmospheric, surrealistic world. The unfolding relationship between crazy-cat-lady-with-a-gruesome-past Bunny Maybrick and creepily intrigued schoolboy Theo Voss is chilling and compelling. His morbid fascination with a murderess is riveting, and I did not see the delicious and spine-tingling twist coming. This play is a designer’s dream. An actor’s delight, it offers an exceptionally rich roles, including one for a mature woman. Highly recommended!
