Oh so gorgeous. 100 fiery pages of young women growing and changing and grappling with a terrible secret. Fans of "My Dark Vanessa" will adore this play.

This is one of my favorite plays in the genre I've termed "girls gone feral". It handles a lot of different topics such as queerness and coming out as well as grooming and grappling with the “nice guy” myth in a really masterful way by using Antigone as a counter text and executing tropes of Greek tragedy in a more modern context.

Universal, smart, and oh-so-human. I loved the wild, headfirst rush of this play, and its incredible centering of young girls faced with the awful ethics that await them in adulthood. It's going to stick with me forever, much like Antigone.

Theatre transforms and empowers and, thankfully, disempowers those who would abuse their power. Well done.

I saw the Virtual Sacred Fools production of this play, and I was fully invested right from the start. This is a new and exciting play within a play that explores urgent issues.

Brilliant work! Each of the students is well crafted and this is a great script for a female ensemble. I was captivated by each girls' response to the situation, especially Susan's and how it relates to Creon. The tension of the last scene is explosive. Hope to catch this one live!

The transformative power of theater is a popular trope, especially, you know, among theater people. In this tale we have a charming male drama coach, new to the school, one who inspires his young charges, and helps them to break through their personal issues to be more their true selves. He also has sex with one of them. Themes of pride, confidence, and the indefatigable power of women, all present in Antigone, are also reflected in this play, as the girls band together to protect one of their own. Highly recommended!

A fantastic ensemble piece for young women that is both beautiful and tragic - just as its source material can be. Each character is a delightfully and intriguingly full person who I could gladly watch for far longer than the length of the play. And along with the brilliant way this play uses Sophocles' Antigone and creates something even bigger, I love that it challenges the notion of "the show must go on" and asks us if that is truly the healthiest mentality to promote.

This one hits the mark in such an unflinching way. Bold and honest in the way that high school girls are.
