Such depth packed into just 10 minutes! Sharifa's dialogue is punchy and funny, while being honest and gut wrenching. It's heartbreaking what the character Jasmyne chooses to accept in order to experience fleeting moments of feeling normal, loved, and beautiful.

In the casting: "Jasmyne must be played by a trans woman. No exception." Yas please, more of this!!

An explosive drama where, while it may not have worked out, we see love at full force and the torture of settling for something less. Outstanding work!

The play is a truthful exploration of a relationship that compels two characters to confront their past with each other, and the motivations that have affected their relationship choices. I appreciated Sharifa Elkady's ability to present raw, emotional honesty within the characters' interaction, which ultimately made the play memorable and emotionally-resonant for me.
