“
A powerful script that is just so incredibly beautiful and moving in the telling of this family of women's story. Well done! ”

Easily one of the most beautiful, powerful, and impactful pieces I've had the pleasure of seeing live. Juliette's work as both a writer and director has moved and inspired me in ways that I will be forever grateful for. Plumas Negras has a way of reaching into your very heart and soul, taking a firm grip, and squeezing the trigger for an outburst of emotions. My face was wet for the majority of my viewing and I left the theater with the instant need to reach out to my mother and thank her for all the sacrifices she's made. ”

Thought provoking and vital - this play blends some abstract elements with very real, historic details. Would love to see it produced in Spanish and English. So powerful! ”
Central characters speak some Spanish (and are intended to have supertitles)
2 actors have multiple doubling, but it's possible to cast individual actors for each role.
