Because this play was written to be performed by child performers, I have kept the casting needs as flexible as possible. The idea is that each actor would be cast as one of the primary characters, and then the secondary character parts--those not performed by the two dedicated chorus members--could be assigned in whatever way makes sense for your particular company of kids. In the event that you have a very large group of kids and opt to not double parts, I have also indicated which of the secondary characters have lines.
