Sweet, lovely— with knockout comedy moments and honest vulnerability. I love that it can be adapted for all genders.

Perfect for the stage, this tender piece follows two partners who are struggling to rebuild physical intimacy after one has undergone trauma. There's a lot for the actors to dig into and work with here.

Violette does a great job of creating triggers and moments of danger that drive the characters away from each other in this beautifully relatable play about intimacy after trauma. I also appreciate the title that spins several ways.

A quiet look at intimacy and rebuilding after trauma. So much space for wonderful subtext. Also a really fun short for a sound designer to work on, so many possibilities.

The act of healing deep, unseen wounds is a delicate one that requires utmost care and discrestion. The tenderness and vulnerability demonstrated here is the very portrait of patience in the face of trauma. Truly a beautiful conversation to watch unfold.

Excellent use of subtext, this is a sweet script with nice, clear goals and obstacles - just what an actor looks for in a piece of theatre.

This is a tender play that skillfully tells its story. At first, you don't know exactly what's happening with the characters, but then it becomes clear bit by bit. The compassion the characters have for each other is charming. I was on their side all the way.
