Michelle Eats a Taco

Michelle has run away in search of something more. Little does she know that what she was looking for could be found in a Taco Bell in the middle of nowhere. The 1% and the 99% collide in this play about the loneliness at the top, and the boredom at the bottom.

"What does a girl have to do to get noticed around here!?"
"Order a taco! It’s Taco Bell!"
This exchange, between spoiled rich girl Michelle and a Taco Bell Worker, nails the problem of class warfare in the US, and is only one of many laugh-out-loud exchanges in this smart, funny two-hander that proves "...there really isn’t anything that Queso can’t fix." A wonderfully fresh, subtly political comedy, and very quotable.

"Yeah we don’t have a taco called acknowledgement." Wow. Must be read to be believed. Spot on crritique of American society. Great dialogue. Nice ending.
