I try to write universal plays for a world-wide audience and my plays have been seen in 32 countries. My plays have been performed by all black and all Asian casts, mixed casts, and I have often changed the gender of a character for different productions when requested. My dream has been to create work with themes that resonate with many cultures and reflect our common humanity.
