Eric Moore is a playwright, theatrical artist, and an advocate for new work. He is currently living and working as an English language teacher in Seoul, South Korea. His plays have been presented around the United States and South Korea. This includes his full-length play, THE DEBASERS, which had a workshop production at the University of Houston under the guidance of Theresa Rebeck and won the Edward Albee Playwriting Award. He’s a founding member of the Rec Room Writers Group where he developed his play TUZ & SOLY that received an audio production as part of their Sound Scripts series. He's had multiple plays selected as finalists for awards through the Valdez Theatre Conference, Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, and Texas Educational Theatre Association. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in Playwriting and Dramaturgy from the University of Houston in 2019.

    Russia is tough. Especially when you’re stuck in a town thousands of miles from Moscow, the girl you love won’t accept a single one of your marriage proposals, and at night the temperature gets so low your balls recede into your throat. It could drive any man mad. Perhaps that’s why Tuz and Soly can’t stand each other, even though they can’t seem to leave one another alone. Borrowing (or stealing) the characters Tuzenbach and Solyony from Chekhov’s Three Sisters, this play riffs on their fatal friendship to deconstruct the toxic behavior that tears them apart.
  • cyber/sex
    A high school senior forms a cyber-sexual relationship with an older woman. At the same time, his best friend begins having actual sex with a girl from school. As the two couples navigate this new world of intimacy, both physical and otherwise, they are forced to confront the consequences. This play explores the murky nature of sex, love, and web-camming.

    Two young women are stuck on a life raft in the middle of the ocean when they encounter a sea monster. One thinks it's their doom, and the other believes it's their salvation.

When Myra obtains a transcript that makes it clear America is on the brink of nuclear war, Kelvin is ready to share it with the world.   • This Way to the Goatman
    Late one night, two friends go out to find the Goatman, a ghost believed to haunt Old Alton Bridge in Denton, TX. As they search, the dark racial history of this myth is revealed, and the two boys are confronted with the fact that truth can be much scarier than fiction.
  • Cooper's Box
    Two childhood friends, Cooper and Ronan, have been reunited by the death of Cooper's father who was absent for the majority of his life. Late at night, they search for a mysterious box that contains evidence of how the deceased truly felt about his son. As they dig through the past, Ronan tries to save his friend from becoming like the man whom he so strongly abhors.
  • Reptilians
    Kyle greets his wife, Maggie, with some very startling news: their town has been infiltrated by Reptilians, a shape-shifting lizard like creature from outer space. Their relationship is put to the test as Kyle attempts to convince his wife of this outrageous conspiracy. However, she has an even bigger secret which she is trying to hide from her raving husband.
  • Sinkhole
    "A" and "E" live in a Sinkhole. They are unhappy with their lives, and so they decide to make a baby using a spare blanket. This absurdist work explores gender roles, identity, and purpose.
  • Apocalypse Later
    The world is coming to an end. Or so the Apoco-Predictors would like to have you believe, (they're still figuring out a date). But when one of their own learns that he is destined to be the prophet of the end times, everything changes. This off-beat comedy explores religion, relationships, and purpose as it wrestles with some of life's big questions.
  • A Superhero Walks into a Bar
    Two men who dress up at superheros for birthday parties meet in a bar, and it's revealed how they feel unfulfilled with their current lives. An exploration into masculinity, sexuality, and purpose.
