Ultimately, I have three goals that I wish to fulfill through my plays. I, firstly, want to create the sensation of what someone with a mental illness experiences in the audience to the best of my ability in order to allow those who do not have mental illness to understand. I aim to normalize mental illness and remove stigma so that people struggling with it can feel comfortable with and unashamed of who they are. Finally, I want to inspire those with mental illness and remind them that they are not alone and change is coming.
