Kathleen Evelyn Brown is a director, writer, actor, and producer based in Texas. She is the New Works Festival Coordinator for A.D. Players Theater in Houston, Texas; and the Student Company Director at Encore Arts in Katy, Texas. Directing credits include: "Subsistence", and "The Stronger" (Encore Arts); "Divine Mercy Witness" (Self-Produced w/Iris Lacsamana); "This is why we can't take you anywhere" and "Rattle: It's Just a Play, It Doesn't Mean Anything" with Artists AF. She has served as a production dramaturg for A.D. Players Theater on "God's Favorite" and "Lilies of the Field." When she's not thinking about theatre, she enjoys reading, making up cocktails with her boyfriend, and planning elaborate vacations that she can't afford. Kathleen holds a B.A. in Theatre & Dance from The University of Texas at Austin.
