Kathleen Evelyn McDowell is a director, writer, actor, and producer based in Texas. Directing credits include: "I Wanna be a Fucking Princess" (Texas State University) "The Wizard of Oz" (TexARTS Academy), "Wedding Bash" (Firecracker Productions), "Subsistence", and "The Stronger" (Encore Arts); "Divine Mercy Witness" (Self-Produced w/Iris Lacsamana); "This is why we can't take you anywhere" and "Rattle: It's Just a Play, It Doesn't Mean Anything" with Artists AF. She has served as a production dramaturg for A.D. Players Theater on "God's Favorite" and "Lilies of the Field." When she's not thinking about theatre, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her dog (Lucy, the cutest weenie dog on planet earth). Kathleen holds a B.A. in Theatre & Dance from The University of Texas at Austin, and is currently pursuing her MFA in Directing at Texas State University.
