This is a delightful roller coaster of a play. Adams gives us a touching story of a friendship between two high students; one straight, one gay; steeped in a Scooby-Doo-esque mystery. Adams takes you on a wonderful ride from almost farce levels to an honest and touching examination of loss.

This is a wonderful and very real play. It portrays loss through a funny, warm, and authentic lens. The characters are achingly and delightfully real. Hageman deftly handles the hills and valleys of a relationship unsettled by a miscarriage with honesty while avoiding falling into maudlin melodrama.

This is a very cute play with a couple great messages that are clear enough for the elementary school set but don't overpower the work. I love that the child with the math skills is a girl, reinforcing that girls can excel in STEM. And the concept that friends want their friends to be their best is a great life lesson for any age. I imagine that kids would have fun performing and watching this!
