Carroll County Fix is a hilarious, touching, intricate look at queer youth eager to break free from their small town trappings. Val's biting wit and humor perfectly balance the real hardships and pain on display through her mosaic of characters. A play that is demanding to be seen and experienced.

HOMERIDAE examines contemporary university structures that students from marginalized communities must navigate. It is a play that discusses issues that are timely and important but is also wildly funny. The play uses technology in such an innovative and extremely theatrical way. Amazing dialogue and characters that are vividly drawn and deeply moving. The play is also written using inventive devices that demonstrate Zandra’s mastery of rhythm, pacing and dramatic beats. I love this play!

Emily’s play feels both familiar in that ripped-from-the-headlines kind of way, as well as wildly fresh, revealing and enlightening. She has an incredible talent for theatricality and staging, each page is packed with inventive choices and devices to bring this story to the stage.

As inventive as it is charming, Moon Man Walk is a vivid depiction of memory and mourning. James takes great care in telling this heartfelt story about journeying home and the search for one’s past.

I have always wished there were more futuristic / science fiction plays, most thankfully Jackie has written one that is wildly inventive and extremely producible! Both hilarious and heartbreaking, Babel is an ominous vision of the future. Jackie’s play is quick-paced, features her Goldfinger branded dialogue that is both snappy and poetic and is a boldly unique take on a dystopian future where babies are judged and categorized before they’re even born.
