Caitlin is an NYC-based playwright, lyricist, and actor, originally hailing from Chicago where she’s stilly happily able to work as a local hire. Her original 10-minute musical THESE WALLS, (Book & Lyrics, Music by Matthew Lowy), won Best Short at the NYTF Winterfest 2020, and is a finalist in the upcoming Sound Bites 7.0 Festival. She’s currently working on the book and lyrics of a new musical commissioned by the American Music Theatre Festival and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and is a lyricist and librettist in the Advanced BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. As an actor, she has performed with many Chicago and Regional Theaters, received a Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Ensemble, been nominated for a Helen Hayes Award for Best Ensemble and has worked in TV/film and voice over. She’s also had the pleasure of sharing her passion for the arts as a teaching artist and loves working with children. Caitlin graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University with a BS in Theatre and a Music Theatre Certificate.

    Iris feels lonely and directionless in her call-center job, until work lands her on the line with Shelly - a young widow who happens to live in the same small town in which Iris's absent mother grew up. Taking the synchronicity as a sign, Iris travels back to the town for a visit with her own estranged grandmother, Ruth. As all three of these women grapple with the ghosts of their pasts, their journeys...

    It’s moving day, and newly married Liz and Jeff burst into their first home with one another, full of hopeful anticipation. On a separate plane of reality thirty-five years in the future, older Jeff and Liz perform a final sweep as they prepare to move out. The two timelines overlap, exploring the bittersweet nature of love and the true meaning of home.
