Pat's focus is writing musical and non-musical scripts for young audiences. She works with producers and theater companies to customize her scripts for each production. Many are adaptations of classic stories but some original works are "The Day Zero Left Dodge", a mathematical Western, and "Bayou Bug Tales", a loose adaptation of 'The Ant and the Grasshopper' that expands on the experience of metamorphosis. Sheriff Nine is injured in pursuit so One is called upon to act as sheriff and catch Eight and return the sheep.
