Katie Capp is a Chicago-based theatre artist. She is currently a senior at Illinois State University, and will be graduating in the spring with a B.S. in Theatre (Acting, Directing, and Theatre Management). Katie Capp is a Chicago-based theatre artist. She is currently a senior at Illinois State University, and will be graduating in the spring with a B.S. in Theatre (Acting, Directing, and Theatre Management). While at Illinois State University, Katie has performed most recently in Balm in Gilead (directed by Joseph Jefferson Award Winning fight choreographer, John Tovar). She has also performed in other plays such as, She Kills Monsters (directed by Society of American Fight Directors member and certified Alexander Technique teacher, Paul Dennhardt), Twisted: The Untold Story of a Royal Vizier, among many others.
Katie choreographed Twisted: An Untold Story of a Royal Vizier, as well as numerous dance pieces throughout her college career.
She has also directed the ten minute play, The Moon Please, as well as assistant directed musicals at the Northbrook Children's Theatre.
