I love the craft of constructing an emotionally honest narrative that can make an audience both feel connection with my characters and laugh. I have found myself returning to several subjects and themes in my work, including pop music, soccer, baseball, the power of art, technology, the Singularity, and the lengths to which we will go to find love, acceptance, and connection. Because I am most comfortable writing male relationships, I challenge myself in everything I write to develop multidimensional characters of other genders with their own wants, obstacles, losses and victories. I count myself lucky to have my growth as a writer as one of the defining pursuits of my life.
