I am excited by plays that excavate and exorcize the subconscious, be it of a character or the writer themself, and I believe that theatre is vital because it is a place that encourages reflection, and where uncomfortable thoughts can be approached. I strive to create work that achieves that and engages an audience, so people can process and cope with this increasingly volatile world.
