Artistic Statement

Tyler likes to write unromantic romantic comedies. He believes above all in experimenting with form and the power of a sense of fun in the theatre. Tyler’s plays are curious, inquisitively silly, and furiously funny. It’s all about the joy of the specifics. What are the lengths we go to not have to say what we mean? He's interested in young people, gender roles, and small communities. And puppets, man. Puppets.
