Zoë Sonnenberg is a playwright, dramaturg, and scholar. Born in Chicago, she studied English/Creative Writing and Theater and Performance Studies at Stanford University and completed her masters in Playwriting and Dramaturgy at the University of Glasgow. Her work ranges from satirical comedies to historical pieces, always rooted in the pursuit of radical empathy between characters and the audience. Her dramaturgical work has been employed by a number of nonprofit theaters in New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, and beyond.
