Adam Richter is a playwright and journalist from Reading, Pa. He has written more than 50 plays, ranging in length from one minute to 100 pages. Adam got his start with playwriting by writing and performing sketch comedy with the Seattle troupe Some Kind of Cult in the late 1990s. His knack for performing thus disproven, he then turned to journalism, writing and editing for newspapers for the last 20 years.
He tried writing novels but prefers dialogue to descriptions. He has not yet learned if stage managers love him or hate him for it.
Adam is the literary manager of Reading Theater Project and a member of the Dramatists Guild. His plays can be found on New Play Exchange, his journalism portfolio at adam-richter.com and his sometimes-clever quips on Mastodon at @richterific@mastodon...
