I was lucky enough to see this at MTC in 2008. I enjoyed it so thoroughly, I used several monologues for auditions over the years - quite successfully I might add. It's an intimate but muscular three-hander that should see revival every now and then even if the material isn't always current. Moses is such a terrific writer.

This is a terrific and ambitious tale about the wounds both emotional and physical we pass down and the (mostly) irreversible changes made to us under the banner of good medicine but whose true purpose is to wrench us into the culturally defined consensus of "normal." Lori has such a great ear for dialogue and the ability to quickly and deftly serve up such rich characters worth rooting for.
  • LOST LAUGHS: The Slapstick Tragedy of Fatty Arbuckle

I was lucky enough to have a front row seat (sometimes as a reader!) for this gem of a play. Aaron is not only a tremendous wielder of piping hot dialogue but one of the most brilliant physical comedians around. Aaron brings Arbuckle to life and doesn't shy away from airing his dirty laundry. Highly recommend!
