The award show which has everything: Glitz! Glam! Bitterness and resentment towards the other people nominated in the same category. Awards night is when the show business elite look their very best and behave at their very worst.

Professional backstabbing is taken to a whole new level when the biggest theatre producer is murdered at the ceremony. Who would do such a thing? Why would they do it? And how can we blame them? I mean, really. It's no secret the producer was a no good, nasty jerk. Took pride in it, too. Treated people like dirt and enjoyed doing so. But we digress.

"Goodbye Cruel World" is a dark comedy centering around a suicidal greeting card writer determined to finish his suicide note after being dumped by the woman he loves. Trouble begins when he realizes his note will be his final word and as such must be the best thing he's ever written. Writer's block and mayhem ensue when his Italian neighbor attempts to help him find the best way to kill himself. Over the course of the next few days he'll attempt to win back his love while his liberated-lesbian sister, determined he move on, introduces him to a potential new love, a young woman intrigued by writers and her personal goal of helping others.

“The Odds Against Death” is a two-act farce in which a simple romantic dinner for two becomes an evening where five people are confronted with deceit, deception, and Death herself.
Thirty-something Meredith believes she is about to be proposed to by Hunter - her boyfriend of two years – and has prepared a special meal for the evening. Hunter is actually trying to break-up with her at the behest of his new, and younger, girlfriend, Liberty. If that wasn’t bad enough, Death arrives to claim Hunter and the two women show the Grim Reaper that life is but a game.

Based on the first meeting of the Marx Brothers with actress Tallulah Bankhead. The Marx Brothers are backstage following a performance of "Animal Crackers" at the 44th Street Theatre in New York City. As Groucho, Harpo, and Chico are discussing whether or not to try their luck with talking motion pictures, the theater manager comes in to let them know Miss Tallulah Bankhead would like to meet them. However the manager has concerns about introducing such a sophisticated young lady to the likes of the Marx Brother - particularly womanizing Chico.
