A fun romantic fantasy with 4 great characters that actors will enjoy playing. This is a story that doesn't go where you think it is going to go, it's better than that.
I love a unique single-set location that allows a set designer to be creative. This show deserves a full production.

This play captures the essence of Harvey Milk as the out-and-proud candidate who is trying to make the world safe for queers. His passion is tangible and so are his faults. Billy Simple is the one caught in the crosshairs. Outed and angry about it. Luckily the world has changed so much, but the hurt of gay children from bullies and their own parents persist as told so potently by the drag queen Cookie in a beautiful monologue. Love this show.

A powerful piece that starts off so cute as we get to know the characters and then comes the incident. What's so great about this piece is that the rationale for Eddie to say what he said that causes so much drama is so relatable. He's not evil, just misguided. Sophie's attempt to be the peacemaker is also relatable and also misguided. Very good show.

Had the pleasure of directing this play. The dialogue is so well-written that the actors said it was easiest play to memorize. All the characters are so specific that you know who they are. Woody has so much energy and pent-up frustration, all he wants is to get out of town but is stymied by circumstances. His partner in crime is Roy Lynn who is quite content to live with his mom, smoke dope and work the ranch. But he enjoys his adventures with Woody. The dentist arrives and takes the whole play to a mad-cap finish. Funny, funny play.

I saw this at the Capital Fringe Festival a few years ago. Hysterically funny. Highly recommend it.
