Chris Holbrook’s short plays have been produced throughout the U.S. and internationally, including the Source Festival (Washington, D.C.); Labute New Theater Festival (St. Louis); Oxford Theater (Oxford, Mississippi); Proscenium Live at the Portland Shakespeare Project; Attic Theatre Company (London); and Montmartre Dionysia (Paris). He has also written three full-length plays, “Les Fantômes,” (O'Neill semi-finalist), ”Doorman,” and “Nightwatch”(O'Neill semi-finalist). He lives in Strasbourg, France.

Synopsis

Max, 42, an ex-pat living in France, returns home to a Chicago suburb, ostensibly to clean out and sell the house of his mother, who died five years before. However, it soon becomes clear that this homecoming is something that he has done before, and that the real goal of his trip is much darker—something that could kill him and rip apart the lives of his family and friends.

Part ghost-story, part...
