I started laughing from the title page - "as told by Big Foot." Smart, funny writing, but a concept right up there with Grendel, the retelling of the Beowulf's story from the monster's point of view.

When Lonny says, "Me not see that. "Me not read script." I howled with laughter, then memories hit and I said "ouch", then I laughed again.

    Recommend highly!

What a lovely ride. You're not a militant vegetarian. The wondrous, yet clueless Aunt Betty. Wedding jitters and fun wrapped around deep feeling and commitment. Richard and Eddie are going to make it.

What a fun, lively group of women are represented in these monologues. Really touched by Ripper Girl who is sharp and funny, but still tender. Deals with stereotypes like the beauty queen - Miss Georgia Peach, but deconstructs them to reveal heart and intelligence. Forces us to abandon our own blind spots without losing a sense of humor.

Love the sharply observed behavior here. The dance they do at the beginning before they get down to the real issues is wonderful. Also true to life, the way we can remember every detail of a closely held slight even years later. The end is sad, but totally justified.

Nina and Vera are very fresh ways of imagining female characters. This couldn't be more relevant because of everything we living through. It is also beautifully and lyrically written.

This poetry and passion of this play are extraordinary. It is rare for a piece to have this kind of power in visual and literary terms.

Amazing, visceral moments: Qi watching a cigarette burn his fingers, the whale knife quivering to a stop.

    What a special, special piece.

Utterly charming. One of those rare plays that really captures the voice of children.

Inez learns a few life lessons. but you'll have so much fun that you won't even notice you're being taught.

    Super produceable.

Really captures the circular push and pull between a mother and daughter amplified by tech demands. A few laugh out loud funny lines.

Things go wrong very quickly for scientist Margaret when she runs into Dan and Bob, two good old boys. This play really captures the chasm between men and women, scientists and outdoorspeople. It's a sophisticated take that allow the men in the piece to be menacing, clueless, well intended and poorly informed. Lots of colors for Margaret to play as well as her emotions shift from annoyance to anger to fear.
