    As the name would suggest the following is a collection of pieces I wrote over the past year ranging from more traditional monologues/prose to more structured verse/poetry such as haikus, villanelles, sonnets, etc. It explores mental health, identity, existence, love, friendship, and acceptance. When contextualizing the piece, I’ve been thinking of it sort of like Caryl Churchill’s Love and Information or Ntozake Shange’s For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/When the Rainbow Is Enuf in spirit, not necessarily scope or quality. I leave it up to the discretion of the director as to whether they want to try to find/create a narrative through-line or simply let each scene create its own emotional/mental response in context of the overall work.

    Whole World In Their Hands is about two sibling supernatural-beings. One is hiding a huge secret from the other and the state of the world hangs in the balance.
  • Frst Date
    Frst Date is about two guys meeting up who got in contact through an app like Grindr. There is a miscommunication on whether they are meeting up for a date or for a casual hook up.

    Seventeen-Across is about two roommates who get into an argument about communication and listening.

    Manufacturing a Memory is a post-modern exploration of consciousness, nihilism, & self.
