    SafeHouse concerns the plight of seven women who must run, hide and find a way to trust others and themselves as they move from oppression and abuse toward freedom. Spanning centuries, the stories of these fictional women include a 17th century Romani mother fleeing with her baby, a Polish Jew hiding from the Nazis, a 1950’s housewife about to be committed to an asylum by her husband, a young lesbian thrown out of her Montana home, a woman fleeing a mental institution and two imaginings of the future: a wife escaping control by surveillance and chipped by her husband and an African-American teen who practices Hoodoo in a White Supremist America is sent away by her family for safety. In monologues these woman tell of their pain as they search for freedom and meet in the "Cosmic Cafe" to reach across time and space to confide in one another. Written by director Tammis Doyle, asst. director Korine Deme and actors Kelly Husted, Hailey Kiehn, Ivy Lee, Veronica Ydalgo, Aiyah Smart, Jinxy Want and Abby Young, First performed on Zoom.

    In this very short play, a couple readies for the day ahead when snow threatens the always inadequately prepared Seattle. As they try to figure out to organize themselves and their son, memories of the previous year's heavy snowfall and ensuing snow days delight the couple.
