The Thanksgiving feast is the setting for this charming play about Mike who has to tell his family about breaking up with his girlfriend. Mike has decided to treat the event more like a press conference and make some prepared remarks and then open the floor to questions. The concept is brilliant, and the script is fun with some great lines, plenty of laughs and an absolutely charming ending.

Visually funny with some great lines and terrific twists Date With Death by Steven Hayet is a definite crowd-pleaser. I’d love to see a production of this play. The script has plenty of laughs throughout and the character's nonchalant attitude towards death and murder doesn’t seem out of place in the crazy world of dating and trying to find true love.

This is an excellent play about how we excuse or hide abusive behaviours made all the more relevant for today's audiences because of the #Me Too movement. Like Mother, Like Daughter is a smart thought-provoking play with escalating revelations that will leave your audience with plenty to talk about. A great mother daughter two-hander that’s easy to stage and would certainly be a memorable addition to any evening of short plays.

What a terrific little play. So, many plays are about the dark sides of life that’s it’s a real joy to find a play that celebrates the good things in life. Filled with humour and a beautiful story about long time love and relationships The Lilac Ticket is easy to stage, will deliver plenty of laughs, and leave your audience feeling good about life. No wonder it’s had so many productions.
