Pamela Meek started writing plays after a successful career as a psychologist in Maryland. Her one-woman show, “How to Be a Good Mom…When You’ve Got a Schizophrenic Mother for a Role Model,” performed in NYC, DC and Maryland in 2015 won the critics award for Best of Capital Fringe. Her one act play, "Family Secrets, Family Remains," had a table read in October 2021 at the Delray Beach Playhouse. Her 10-minute play, “Undecided,” was showcased at the Delray Beach Playhouse in November, 2019 and produced by TAP Productions at the Standing Ovation Performing Arts Theatre in Lake Worth, Florida in December, 2019 and Love Fest in South Florida in February, 2021. She is currently working on a satirical play about matriarchy vs patriarchy and a full length play based on her one-woman show.

    In this witty and dramatic tale, Pamela reveals her hidden fear of becoming schizophrenic like her mother and passing it on to the next generation. If she has a child, will she do unto her kid as was done unto her? Pamela struggles to forgive and in the end discloses the true origin of her good parenting skills.

    In this satirical one act play, God is upset and disappointed about the negative consequences of patriarchy on the world and tries to trick Goddess into taking over. However, she is dubious about his intentions and suggests they both present their ideas about possible changes. What they each imagine is acted out onstage by two couples and results in a new way of looking at the future.
