My work focuses on the experiences of young people who come into contact with the ever more complicated world around them. While everyone feels strongly, young people and teenagers are often most vocal, they have not yet been forced into the "polite" silences of adulthood. The relationships and inner workings of families are often the locus around which my stories take place. My plays are grounded in reality but reach beyond the living rooms and offices where they begin to access the memories, thought processes, and voices present in the mind.
