  • Interabang
A pseudo-autobiographical, fragmented portrait of the fragmented identity of a Japanese-Chinese-white family, and of the half-true ancestral curse that lurks under their kitchen sink. "Interabang" is equal parts a drag performance, a memory play, and a ghost story that hopscotches through time, unearthing queerness(‽) and shame(!) and pride(?) in 3+ generations, their pet shih-tzu, and the backyard...

  • To My Face & Thighs (a play not really about ballet)
a tragicomedy of teenage ballet dancers circa 2011. Two students, Libby (almost 12) and Sal (13), trespass into the upper level female students' bathroom, hiding in a stall as the étoile themselves, Anton Valles (15) walks in. When the trio gets locked inside, an ethically-questionable haircut, dance party, kiss, and phone call ensue. By the coda, their hormone fueled performance for the mirror turns...

When the trio gets locked inside, an ethically-questionable haircut, dance party, kiss, and phone call ensue. By the coda, their hormone fueled performance for the mirror turns sacrificial, revealing who holds the power, who gets out of the bathroom, and what is the psychological price to excel at a deeply gendered and graceful, (and openly gay?) art form.
  • ded restaurant
An empty rented space in dystopian NYC attempts to stay active as it closes and reopens itself repeatedly over the course of ten days. The same employees (& actors) move from 1) a fine dining establishment -> 2) a co-working café startup -> 3) a health-conscious smoothie & instant IV center-> 4) a wellness church -> 5) a psychic shop, and beyond. The managers have a separate language,...

The same employees (& actors) move from 1) a fine dining establishment -> 2) a co-working café startup -> 3) a health-conscious smoothie & instant IV center-> 4) a wellness church -> 5) a psychic shop, and beyond. The managers have a separate language, someone's building a pyramid scheme, and the same customer keeps trying to film a mukbang in the corner. "ded restaurant" is a mosaic-like human comedy that links the origin of restaurants in Paris, 1765, to the capitalist absurdities of American service industries, and asks for new meanings for the scarce resource we call "Space."
  • The Hollyweird Actors Roundtable Play
A moderator attempts to facilitate a roundtable discussion between seven actors nominated for the same film (or past life?) Topics include: approaches to Acting, favorite colors, most difficult experience onscreen, was your performance Queer?, and what piece of advice would you tell to a picture of you as a baby?

  • Fur(r)ies
Alek, Megaera, and Tizzi are losers with fursonas and familiars. They go to a furry convention at the city center where a high school girls' volleyball championships game has also been scheduled. Worlds collide, it's really messy, and the spirit of punishment comes to say hell-o!
