Andrea is presently a student at California State University, Long Beach, who intends on obtaining her Bachelors in Technical Theatre Arts with a focus in stage management. Prior to transferring to CSULB, Andrea received much of her experience and mentorship at The Western Stage, a community theatre based in her hometown, Salinas, CA. She started off at the company as an assistant stage manager and ended her term as a production associate. Although Andrea's focus is in stage management, Andrea hopes to accrue knowledge and experience at school in other fields to become the theatre maker and technical theatre educator that she aspires to be.

Some of Andrea's other objectives while being in the LA county includes continuing her work as a theatre maker by creating and collaborating on projects that are accessible, issues that relevant to the community, and topics that are personally important to her, such as LGBTQ- and LatinX-related. To keep connected with her first home base, Andrea plans on facilitating workshops regarding her experiences as a technical theatre arts student and as a growing professional, and work on projects with new and old collaborators.

In her free time, Andrea enjoys concocting the next artistic endeavors with her sister and her partner, drawing, and watching movies.
