Nevin Millan explores storytelling as an actor, writer/playwright, filmmaker and creative consultant. Through his uniquely faceted prism he imbues his multi-cultural, first generation American perspective into all his creative pursuits. His foray into the arts began at a young age via music and stage performing where he portrayed iconic characters from Donald Duck to John Proctor to Marc Antony and many in between. He is drawn to intense dramas and sweeping action/sci-fi/fantasy adventures, as well as the occasional dramedy. Inspired by the classics as well as modern literary works Nevin continues to write for the screen and stage and also has a novel and book of poetry in the works.

A vocal advocate for diversity, Nevin develops an array of projects through his production company. He writes:

“As a first generation American of mixed ethnicity, the ubiquitous lack of cultural representation in the entertainment industry is something that has irked me since I was a child. Rarely, if ever, seeing stories and characters that related directly to my experience or that of my multi-ethnic friends created a dissonance within me that I still struggle to reconcile. Especially when those rare appearances were stereotypes or complete misrepresentation that played into myopic biases. From this my passion to tell diverse stories was born. It is what galvanized my spirit to storytelling while many other forces in my life pulled towards other directions. The world is a cornucopia of cultures and I intend to use my voice to tell stories that mirror this spectrum of experiences.”

Nevin has recently appeared on various screen and stage productions worldwide. He aims to dig deep into the human spirit through storytelling by tapping into those moments in life that spark greatness, inspiration, and growth.

Nevin currently lives eco-consciously in Los Angeles with his two children.
