Artistic Statement

I've lived a lot of places, done a lot of jobs, seen a lot of life, refused to be trapped.

My characters are trapped.

In haunted diners, cluttered apartments, luscious hollers, blood-drenched battlefields, soulless art studios.

In marriages, families, countries.

Between Black and White, love and hate, rich and poor, life and death, perception and reality, safety and danger, left and right, over here and over there, the past and the future.

I wonder.

If they get out, what will they do?

If they get out, where will they go?

If they stay, what then?
