If any unifying theme runs through my plays, it is something about the painful, joyous struggle of people trying to be human with each other. I have written farces, absurdist comedies, realistic tragedies, and magically tinged family dramas. I am attracted to topics I know very little about and end up diving into new worlds with each play. Always on the lookout for some heartbreaking, ridiculous, or outrageous aspect of this life to take on next.
