Michael Herman is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter from the greater Los Angeles area. He is the co-writer of James Franco’s film The Mad Whale and holds an MFA in screenwriting from the University of Southern California.

Michael Herman is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter from the greater Los Angeles area. He is the co-writer of James Franco’s film The Mad Whale and holds an MFA in screenwriting from the University of Southern California.

Michael has also seen publications in theatre through the Hollywood Fringe Festival, Roustabout Theatre Troupe, and Fairweather Fox Productions. In addition to his theatre success, Michael has also been published in comics (Unlawful Good: An Anthology of Crime) and literature (Contract Terror).

Through these publications, he has come to believe there is no art more precious than collaboration.
