This play is an absolute delight. It moves at the speed of light, it's downright hilarious, and the poetry and rhythm of the play are so refreshing. This play recontextualizes the mundanity of heterosexual, middle class modern life to reveal its reek of thoughtlessness and absurdity.

An exquisitely-written two-hander that goes places you would not expect. It builds such a rich world with its language, and the characters feel like at any point they might burst from their containers. Imaginative, unsettling, and so much fun.

Highly recommend for production. An epic play on love and falling out of love and falling back in love, on first date and the end of civilization (?) and everything in between (raising kids and book burning) -- a play that asks big questions on love, sex, marriage, parenting -- all of it narrated with a language that's only for theatre. Reminds me of Jenny Schwartz's playful approach to language. Check it out. I will definitely check out Song's other plays!
