Uniquely written, poetry with a bite (in the best possible) way, 23 OPINIONS NO ONE WANTED has a pattern, its words a rhythm, and unfortunate relatability with every line. It moves so quickly, so swiftly, yet packs a punch-to-the-patriarchy with a succinct amount of sass. This would be such a fun piece to see performed at a local fringe festival or an evening of one acts or ten minute plays.

How many, many times have I wanted to say something along these lines aloud to someone? More than 23. Willis captures the sass -- but also fatigue -- of people who are constantly being judged by society's absurd standards. I can see this as a monologue or an ensemble piece. It's incisive! Loved it!

I would love to see this done by a group of humans alternating lines in a predetermined way.
Delicious work from Tristan B. Willis.
